Of the less than 5,000 that were built, the 455 SD (Super Duty) with a 4-speed manual transmission is one of the rarest birds out there with only 72 produced. Pontiac produced a total of 252 Trans Am?s with 455 SD engines in 1973.
455 Super Duty Engine Legacy
According to Pontiac?s specs, the 455 SD in a 4-speed manual tranny produced 290 horsepower at 4,000 RPM and 395 Lbs/Ft torque at 3,600 RPM. Pretty pathetic when compared to today?s horsepower to displacement ratio, but nonetheless, still a rock star in its day.
What?s the worst thing that could happen to a 455 SD gas guzzler engine? If you guessed the October 1973 Middle Eastern OPEC nations oil embargo, you win. car insurance camden
UEM Land to launch Symphony Hills Phase 1
0 Comments | New Straits Times, Jul 30, 2010 | by Sharen Kaur
UEM Land Holdings Bhd is launching phase one of Symphony Hills, a RM1 billion five-year residential project in Cyberjaya, and is confident demand will be strong.
In fact, it expects to sell all 122 superlink houses, townhouses and town villas that will be launched this weekend. Prices range from RM1 million to as much as RM2.3 million per unit.
Managing director Datuk Wan Abdullah Wan Ibrahim is optimistic of strong sales judging from the demand shown by both locals and expatriates in the Klang Valley, especially in Cyberjaya.
“We feel Symphony Hills is hitting the market at the right time. There is Maju Expressway improving connectivity between Cyberjaya and Kuala Lumpur.
“Cyberjaya has announced several new international firms coming on board. These include Fortune 500 companies, which will spur demand for new housing. Cyberjaya is going to fly,” he said.
Symphony Hills will feature 450 houses. The project will showcase the connected intelligent community (CIC) concept of state-of-the- art technology and high-speed fibre optic infrastructure.
UEM Land is partnering Mesiniaga Bhd and Cisco Malaysia to develop Symphony Hills, which is the first residential development for the company outside of Nusajaya in Johor.
Each house at the 98ha Symphony Hills will have strata landed status, allowing residents to maintain certain aspects of the project from landscaping to security.
The project, which will be certified green, will also have a floating clubhouse incorporating green technology for rainwater harvesting.
“Although the prices are steep, our margins are very mediocre. We won’t get 30 per cent to 40 per cent margin, but the satisfaction will come from being the first developer here to offer such a community.
“A lot of budget is being planned on the ICT (information and communications technology) component housing for sale

Hello Pet Lovers,
I want to take time this month to talk to you about puppies as Christmas gifts. It’s getting closer to the holidays and I hate to be a Scrooge, but Christmas is the worst time to get a new puppy.
Take the time to consider all that goes into making a new puppy’s transition into a new home. I can’t speak for anyone else, but our house around the holidays is CRAZY. With all of the shopping, cooking and that trip through the woods to grandma’s house can be stressful for everyone.
Now add a new puppy that has no idea where he is. This is probably the most stressful time for a new puppy, being separated from his siblings and mother is hard on a young pup. Then you have potty training, and Kansas in late December is anyone’s guess. Will it be 70 degrees or will it be eight below and have a foot of snow?
I know many of us have kids, and all they want is a puppy and they will just the if they don’t get one. Please don’t buy a puppy that is less than eight weeks old; they are just too young to be away from their mothers.
If I were Master of the Universe I would make it illegal to take a puppy away from its mother until at least 12 weeks. The longer that a puppy can stay with its mother and siblings will help him to learn that he is a pack animal. A bitch will teach the puppies that she is the alpha and they are her subordinates. The puppies in turn will work it out amongst themselves.
Ideally if you could keep a litter together until 12 to 14 weeks they will have learned the pack order. It will be easier for them to understand that when they come to live in your house that you are the new pack leader.
I feel that every dog should at least go to beginning obedience classes. Most are six to eight weeks long and anywhere from $60 to $100. You will be surprised by how much you can learn, and it’s fun potty training a puppy

BUY HUNTSWORTH Numis sees international PR group Huntsworth as a buy, in advance of the group’s preliminary results on next Monday. It says Huntsworth’s PR network will “demonstrate a level of resilience”. Huntsworth acquired start-up Momentum at the end of 2008, giving it offices in Riyadh and Dubai, and additional clients from Abu Dhabi, Bahrain and Oman, and Numis believes that Huntsworth is now “undervalued”. It points out that the company is underpinned by diverse clients and a range of digital activity. However, Numis has dropped its target price on the shares from 55p to 52p. Today they were 1p higher at 40p.

However, dreading going to work is a whole new ball game. Every day, you hate going to work. It might even make you feel a little bit sick to your stomach. Sometimes, you call off sick because you just can’t stand going to work that day. This is dread. If you’re feeling like this, then that’s a good sign you might want to get a new job.
Does your attention constantly wander at work?
– Most people cruise the internet every once and awhile at work, just to take a small break from whatever they’re working on. However, in this case, you are constantly doing something, anything, besides working. attorney jobs

Everyone wants to be successful. Everyone wants to have more, be more, do more, and enjoy more of what life has to offer. We are driven continually forward toward the accomplishment of the things that are most important to us. The entire human race is a made up of people striving toward the realization of their potential in every area. Because of this, there is tremendous competition for the good of things in life. Everybody wants them, and no one is ever fully satisfied. The satisfaction of a want or desire leads automatically to a want or desire for something else. And it never ends.
What, then, is the difference between those who accomplish a lot and those who accomplish a little? It is that some people have the will to be successful and others don?t. Everyone wants to be successful. But very few people want to engage in the rigorous hard work, hour after hour, month after month, and year after year, that is required to prepare themselves for success.
You too, want to be successful., You want to be a big success in life. cardio training
Poor Restroom Cleaning Causes Cruise-Ship Sickness
HealthDay, November, 2009 by Robert Preidt
Poor cleaning of restrooms aboard cruise ships raises the risk of norovirus-caused gastrointestinal illness outbreaks, a new study finds.
Norovirus causes about 95 percent of acute gastroenteritis outbreaks that occur on cruise ships. Between 2003 and 2008, norovirus outbreaks occurred on 66 ships monitored by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
In this study, U.S. researchers checked 273 cruise-ship restrooms on 1,546 occasions and found that only 37 percent of them were cleaned daily best baby monitors
